Koshary (Egyptian) tea is brewed without a tea bag directly in the glass. Tea is added to the glass and infused with boiling water. Once leaves settle the tea is ready to drink.
Add sugar, fresh mint leaf or lemon slice to taste. Milk is never added to Koshary tea.
