AWAFI MILL Whole Dried Black Lime 250g | Loomi | Black Lemon | Middle Eastern Cooking Ingredient

AWAFI MILL Whole Dried Black Lime, traditionally known as Loomi, is a popular ingredient in Middle Eastern and Persian cuisine. It has a concentrated sour, citrusy, earthy flavour with mildly smoky and slightly bitter notes. Add the whole lime to machboos, kabsa, rice dishes, soups, stews, lentils, chicken and meat recipes to enhance their flavour. Pierce the lime before simmering to release its aroma, then remove it before serving. It can also be cracked, deseeded and ground for marinades, spice blends and seasoning. Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
