AWAFI MILL Peeled Dried Black Lime 100g | Loomi | Black Lemon

AWAFI MILL Peeled Dried Black Lime, traditionally known as Loomi, is a dried lime product with part of the outer peel removed. It features a concentrated sour, citrusy and earthy flavour with mildly smoky and slightly bitter notes. This traditional Middle Eastern ingredient is suitable for machboos, kabsa, rice dishes, soups, stews, lentils, chicken, meat and fish recipes. Add the whole lime to cooking broth and simmer to release its distinctive flavour, then remove before serving. It can also be broken, deseeded and ground for marinades, spice blends and seasoning. Start with a small amount and adjust according to taste. Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight.
