AWAFI MILL Mastic Gum, also known as Mastaki Rumi, is a natural aromatic resin obtained from the Pistacia lentiscus tree. These pale resin tears offer a distinctive pine-like, woody and gently balsamic flavour. Traditionally used as natural chewing gum, mastic can also be ground in small quantities to flavour ice cream, milk puddings, breads, biscuits, cakes, confectionery, coffee and other beverages. Its concentrated aroma adds a unique Mediterranean character to sweet recipes. Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
