AWAFI MILL Dried Cranberries 250g – Kranberi – American Cranberry

AWAFI MILL Dried Cranberries, also known as Kranberi, are prepared from the fruit of Vaccinium macrocarpon Aiton, commonly known as American Cranberry or Large Cranberry.

The cranberry fruit is naturally tart and acidic. Drying creates a convenient dried fruit with a concentrated fruity character and a soft-to-chewy texture. Commercial dried cranberries may be sweetened to balance the naturally tart flavour, so the final ingredient declaration should always follow the actual product formulation.

The dried fruit naturally displays deep red, burgundy and reddish-brown shades. Individual pieces may vary in size, shape, colour intensity and softness.

Dried Cranberries can be enjoyed directly as a snack or combined with nuts and other dried fruits. They are suitable for oatmeal, yogurt, granola, breakfast cereals, trail mixes, salads, rice dishes, couscous, quinoa, baked goods and fruit preparations.
