AWAFI MILL Asafoetida Resin Lumps, commonly known as Hing and Halteet, are coarse aromatic resin pieces obtained from Ferula species. They have a naturally powerful pungent aroma that becomes warmer and deeply savoury when briefly cooked in oil or ghee. Use a very small quantity in dal, sambar, rasam, lentils, bean dishes, vegetables, curries, sauces, pickles and spice blends.
