AWAFI MILL Asafoetida Paste, commonly known as Hing Paste and Halteet, is a concentrated aromatic Ferula-based spice in a soft sticky form. It has a naturally powerful pungent aroma that becomes warmer and savoury after brief cooking in oil or ghee. Its soft consistency makes it easy to portion and incorporate into dal, sambar, rasam, lentils, bean dishes, vegetable curries, gravies and pickles. Use only a very small quantity due to its concentrated character.
